حديثنا عن شخصية من الشخصيات التي كان لها دور كبير في مجال العمل الخيري والعمل الدعوي،
ولد قبل ثمانين عاماً تقريباً في أسرة ثرية تعيش في شبه القارة الهندية وتحديداً في باكستان.
هذه الأسرة كانت من طائفة السيخ. وكعادة الأسر الثرية، التي تعهد بأبنائها إلى معلمين ومربين
يعلمونهم ويربونهم؛ عهدت هذه الأسرة بابنها إلى معلم مسلم يتربى عنده. تعلَّم هذا الابن
وتربى على يد هذا المعلم المسلم، وتلقى منه قيم الإسلام وأخلاقه وعقيدة التوحيد،
فما كان منه إلا أن أعلن دخوله في هذا الدين وأسلم لله، تعالى.

غضبت أسرته من دخول ابنها في الإسلام، فتبرأت منه. ولكن لأن هذا الشاب
رضع لبان التجارة وعاشها بفطرته؛ فقد شق طريقة حتى كوَّن له ثروة مرموقة.
تزوج وصار له أبناء، وأدخل أبناءه مدارس تحفيظ القرآن الكريم في بلدته،
لكن أبناءه خذلوه ولم يستمروا في الدراسة، فشعر بالحزن؛
لأن أمله في أن يحفظ أبناؤه القرآن الكريم قد تبخر. شعر مدير المدرسة بالألم
الذي أصاب الرجل من جراء ترك أبنائه تعلُّمَ القرآن، فطرح عليه فكرة،
وقال: «أنت تحرص على تعليم أبنائك القرآن، فاعتبر أن جميع الطلاب
الذين في هذه المدرسة هم أبناؤك، فارعهم واحرص على تعليمهم القرآن،
وتبنَّ الاهتمام بهم وتطوير هذه المدرسة».

راقت الفكرة لهذا الرجل «محمد يوسف سيتي»، وفكّر في أن يطور
هذه المدرسة وأن يجلب لها أفضل المعلمين من بلاد الإسلام.
وعندما سأل نفسه: أين يمكن أن يجد أفضل المعلمين لتعليم القرآن الكريم؛
لم يجد أمامه إلا إجابة واحدة: مكة المكرمة ستكون الموطن لهؤلاء المعلمين المتميزين.

حزم أمتعته وتوجه إلى مكة يبحث عن معلمين لتعليم القرآن الكريم،
لكنه فوجئ بأنه لا توجد في مكة جهة تُعنى بتعليم القرآن الكريم،
وإنما هناك مبادرات من أفراد وحِلَق وكتاتيب لتعليم القرآن الكريم تتناثر
في زوايا المسجد الحرام، فطرح على نفسه سؤالاً: «أيهما أَوْلى بالاهتمام:
مدرسة تُعنى بتعليم القرآن الكريم في بلدي أم في المسجد الحرام؟
فلم يجد أمامه إلا إجابة واحدة: المسجد الحرام.

عرض الشيخ محمد يوسف سيتي فكرته في إنشاء جمعية لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم
في مكة المكرمة على علماء المسجد الحرام، فتحمسوا لها ودعموها،
فكانت أول جمعية لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم في
المملكة العربية السعودية وذلك عام 1382 من الهجرة،
وجلب لها الشيخ مائة معلم من باكستان لتعليم القرآن الكريم،
وبدأت هذه الجمعية المباركة في رحاب المسجد الحرام ومساجد مكة.

بعد سنتين، انتقل محمد يوسف سيفي إلى المسجد النبوي لنقل
فكرة تأسيس جمعية لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم في المدينة النبوية،
وعرض الفكرة على علماء المدينة، فرحبوا بها وتحمسوا لها.
وكانت هذه الجمعية ثاني جمعية لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم في المدينة في عام 1384 من الهجرة.
نشطت هذه الجمعية في المسجد النبوي الشريف وفي مساجد المدينة،
حتى أقبل عليها الناس لتعليم أبنائهم كتـــاب الله - تعالى - وتحفيظهم القرآن الكريم .

وفي عام 1386هـ، انتقل إلى الرياض للفكرة نفسها، ألا
وهي إنشاء جمعية لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم في مدينة الرياض العاصمة،
وعرض الأمر على سماحة مفتي الديار السعودية الشيخ محمد بن إبراهيم - رحمه الله - آنذاك،
فما كان من الشيخ إلا أن رفع الأمر إلى الملك فيصل - رحمه الله - الذي وافق على الفكرة،
وكلّف الشيخ محمد بن إبراهيم بالإشراف على هذه الجمعية،
فاختار الشيخ أحد أبرز تلاميذه النجباء،
وهو الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن عبــد الله بــن فريان - رحمه الله -
لتأسيس هذه الجمعية وإدارتها.

بدأت هذه الجمعية في مدينة الرياض بخمس حلقات في مساجد الرياض،
ثم توسعت وتوسعت حتى زاد طلابها في وقتنا الحاضر من الذكور والإناث
عن مائة وعشرين ألف طالب وطالبة.

وتوالى إنشاء جمعيات تحفيظ القرآن الكريم حتى وصل عددها إلى
ما يزيد عن 120 جمعية في أنحاء المملكة. كانت تلك البذور الطيبة
التي ابتدأت في مكة ثم المدينة ثم الرياض هي النواة لهذه الجمعيات الطيبة المباركة.

لم يتوقف أثر هذه الفكرة على المملكة العربية السعودية، بل تجاوزه إلى أقطار عدة
في إنشاء جمعيات متخصصة في تحفيظ القرآن الكريم؛ حيث أنشئت في دول الخليج
وفي مصر وفي الشام وفي الأردن، بل في فلسطين ولبنان واليمن وغيرها
من الجهات التي تسابقت لإنشاء مثل هذه الجمعيات، وتسابقت فللعناية
بتربية هذا النشء على القرآن الكريم.

ويكفي هذه الجمعيات فخراً أنها خرجت جيلاً مباركاً من العلماء وطلبة العلم،
بل خرّجت جيلاً مباركاً من أئمة المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي الذين يصلي
خلفهم الملايين، وتشرئب أعناق الناس لزيارة بيت الله الحرام
وزيارة مسجد نبيه - صلى الله عليه وسلم - والصلاة خلف هؤلاء الأئمة المباركين،
الذين هم نتاج لتلك الحلقات المباركة التي حفظوا فيها كتاب الله - سبحانه وتعالى -
وتربوا عليه، وكانوا قدوة في الخير، وقدوة في العمل، وقدوة في الدعوة.

لنا وقفات كثيرة أمام هذه القصة، فمحمد يوسف سيتي كان في يوم من
الأيام من طائفة السيخ، كان كافراً، لكن الله - سبحانه وتعالى -
أراد به خيراً بأن نجاه من النار وأدخله في هذا الدين، وأراد الله للأمة خيراً
إذ أجرى هذه البذور المباركة على يدي هذا الرجل.

محمد يوسف سيتي قدم إلى ربه وهو لا يعلم إلى أي حد وصلت أو
ستصل إليه هذه الجمعيات وهذا الأثر المبارك لتلك الحِلَق الطيبة،
ولكن الله - سبحانه وتعالى - وحده يعلم أثر هذه الجمعيات.

وهنا نقول: إن هذه الثمرة المباركة التي بذرها أولئك النفر المباركون
من أهل العلم في هذا البلد المبارك كانت لها هذه الثمار
اليانعة الطيبة التي نســأل الله - سبحــانه وتعالى - أن يجزيهم عليها خير الجزاء
